GNSRL Councils

Addressing the complex relationship between human cognition, emerging technologies, and societal systems requires perspectives that cross disciplinary and institutional boundaries. GNSRL establishes thematic councils to bring together expertise from science, technology, policy, economics, and social systems to engage critical global challenges. Neurodata Governance Council

This council focuses on how neurological and cognitive data is classified, governed, and regulated across research, industry, and public systems. Its work centers on defining neurodata categories, setting standards for lawful collection and processing, and addressing risks arising from data-driven inference rather than raw data alone. The council develops governance frameworks for consent, data stewardship, cross-jurisdictional compliance, and accountability in neurotechnology and biosensing ecosystems.

GenNeuroSociety Research Lab

GenNeuroSociety Research Lab (GNSRL) operates under the Interdisciplinary Research Foundation (India) as an independent interdisciplinary research lab examining how emerging technologies reshape human cognition, behaviour, identity, health, and societal systems. The lab focuses on technological domains including neurotechnology, artificial intelligence, biosensing systems, robotics, and bio-digital infrastructures.
